Advertorial Seminars
An advertorial is an advertisement presented in a format that can and may appear to be editorial copy.
It is an alternative method of promotion which combines components of advertising, public relations and
editorial reporting, getting across a specific message exactly the way you want it to read. A well-written
advertorial is perceived and responded to differently than a traditional ad. Advertorial content can be used
for direct marketing, enhancing your image, deliver messages or build brand or product awareness. For a small
or midsize company with little or no name recognition or product awareness, traditional ads have little or no
impact. An advertorial will enable any company to tell a specific story and get their important
messages across.
Especially in today’s economy, publications including Golf Magazine, Golf Digest, the Wall Street Journal and
USA Today are running advertorial copy. They are also more prone to negotiating discounts than ever before
and attendees will be introduced to remnant buys, significantly reduced prices for advertising. Advertorial
copy can benefit any person, property or company, large or small, delivering their information in a cost
effective way. The seminar is delivered through a PowerPoint presentation and audience participation is highly
encouraged. The presentation is fluid in that it flows around specific questions and needs of the attendees.
